How do you switch between desktops?

Hi, I have Windows Vista on my laptop, and I was wondering how to switch between desktops. I noticed a bunch of kids doing it at school, and you can hide whatever you’re doing. (Say if you were playing a game and a teacher comes by, you could switch it to another desktop without losing your place, and the other desktop would have nothing that would give away your game playingness.) Does anybody know how to do this? Thanks.

What is the best basic graphics tablet on the market?

I’m looking into buying a graphics tablet. Nothing too fancy, I’m not that intense about it, and I also dont want to spend more than $100. So far the two that I like the most is the Bamboo by Wacom and the Genius MousePen. Any opinions on either of those? Or is there another brand in my price range that would be even better?
