Many used the Epson paper with my Epson 7900 printer. I shoot mainly portraits, but some still lifes, flowers and other things with which to produce art prints for mounting, framing, sales, etc. In recent years (quite recently) the release of the Epson Print Cold and Hot Press paper has caused me to try it out. Tried, both natural light versions of each of 8 x 10 17 x 22 (my favorite size for the art press). Hot Press is smooth, the texture of the Cold Press.

Bottom line, ICold Press received clear almost everything. It's fantastic for portrait – absolutely perfect color rendering (of course, HDR 7900 uses pigment inks, which are state of the art) to the hard, heavy weight paper.

If you are serious about your photography or art, try to clear the Cold Press 17 x 22nd About 4 dollars plus list, but worth every penny.

Save money on printer cartridges and ink

Just last week out of Ink when printing important business documents and ran the local store for a new Printer cartridge. I expected it would be expensive, but I was shocked at the price! Other local stores have similar prices very expensive. Did you know that many Printer manufacturers make most of their money, often everything, from sales of Printer cartridges and Inkjet printers, no printers? Printer sales are often money loser for them. There wasbe a cheaper way to get printer cartridges, and indeed, there are several options cheaper.

I found much cheaper printer cartridges online, even when factoring in shipping. Some of them are brand new cartridges are manufactured by the printer makers, some were new, a third party, and some were refilled cartridges, but they were all much cheaper.

You can also add your own cartridges. Kits are readily available at many places on the internet, and YouTube videos to itIt seems pretty simple and reliable.

There are also stores that will refill your cartridges for you. For example, Cartridge World is the store that I regularly drive that I used before with good results.

There are plenty of options but to pay full price when you suddenly run out of Ink and need to print an important document. Plan ahead! Now I have backup tapes in my office, and a plan for refilling empty. Maybe have to fill in for me, like trying toFill it yourself, and how it saves money and helps the environment through recycling.
