When I first bought this, I was afraid that both came DOA. Kind of weird to get two lemons at once, but I think that's how it works, sometimes. So it ended up that this is not the case, instead, was that my old-ish motherboard ASUS A8V Deluxe, was not aware of these discs, because I left them at default settings. Instead, when I put a jumper in position 7-8, forcing the disc to be 1.5 g / s instead of 3.0 g / s, it worked like a charm!

PROS –

2nd Installation – It's a 3.5 "hard drive. Installation was just like another hard drive, not harder or easier than anything I have ever owned before the SATA hard drive. It is my motherboard would give a con, as to the location SATA slots, but that's another review!

CONS-
1st Bare drive only – Yeah, I know I should not really be a "con", but really, hard disk is lonely. Would not it be better if part of cable or hard drive screws or something that hard drive companies, as it was sent?

2nd Amazon = expensive – there are other means to purchase the hard drive, but I'm not one to bash Amazon too much. Their prices are fair, but the hard drive is sold in the third part-dealer, so I think I can easily gosomewhere else and get the roughly $ 20 less …

I ended up buying two of these children, and are still strong. I would recommend Amazon to buy computer parts? Probably not. I would recommend these discs? Absolutely!
